Personal Data Protection Policy

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, we hereby inform you of our data protection policy.

1. Who is responsible for processing your personal data
  • Solvian – Tech, Innovation and Consulting, Lda. (hereinafter “Solvian”), with registered office at Rua de Júlio Dinis, no. 585, 4th Floor,

2. For what purpose is your personal data used
  • To fulfill contractual obligations assumed in the service provision relationship; and,
  • To comply with obligations set forth in applicable legislation.
3. Why we use your personal data (legal basis)
  • Your personal data is used solely and exclusively for the fulfillment and development of the contractual relationship. Solvian may use the contact details you have provided with third parties that provide services to Solvian, with whom it has established a contractual relationship that provides for the confidential processing of this data;
  • When the unequivocal consent of the Data Subjects has been obtained;
  • In exceptional situations, Solvian may have to transfer personal data to a country located within the territory of the European Union or to a Third Country, but always in compliance with and for the development of the contractual relationship, ensuring the confidential processing of this data;
  • When the transmission is carried out in the context of compliance with a legal obligation, a decision by the National Data Protection Commission, or a court order; and,
  • When the communication is carried out to protect the vital interests of the Data Subjects or any other legitimate purpose provided for by law.
4. How long we retain your data
  • We retain your personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship. Once the contractual relationship has ended, personal data will be destroyed.
5. To whom we will communicate your data
  • To no one, unless there is a legal provision requiring it, or if fulfilling the contractual relationship between you and Solvian requires making your personal data available to third parties with whom Solvian has established a contractual relationship that provides for the confidential processing of such data, or if we obtain your consent.
6. What rights you can exercise when providing us with your data
  • Right of access to your personal data to know what data is being processed and what processing is being carried out;
  • Right to rectification of any inaccurate or outdated personal data;
  • Right to erasure of your personal data;
  • Right to object, i.e., to request that your personal data not be processed;
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, when this was the legal basis for processing your data;
  • Right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data; and
  • Right to portability, i.e., to receive the personal data that has been made available to Solvian in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another data controller.
7. How you can exercise your rights
  • To exercise your rights, you must send a written request to the email address geral@Solvian.pt, stating your full name and the right you are exercising.
